The town of Razlog is situated in the Razlog valley, at an altitude of 825 m. above sea level.

There are approximately 13 000 inhabitants in the town and it is surrounded by three majestic mountains – the Rila, Pirin and Rodophi mountains.

It is only some 6 km. away from the world famous ski resort of Bansko, 54 km. southeast of the city of Blagoewgrad and 154 km. south of the capital city of Sofia.

The first written evidence of the existence of Razlog date back from the Byzantine times – from the Byzantine emperor Vasilii II and during the independence war against the Turkish slavery the town play a very active role in the fights.

Today the town of Razlog is developing as a very important tourist center. Quite interesting for the visitors are the old church “St. Geroge”, the Kipieva house as well as the Parapunova house.

The location of the town – tucked between three mountains and its close proximity to the world famous ski resort of Bansko make it a very attractive place for holiday and relaxation all year round.

Some 18 km. northeast of Razlog is situated the extremely attractive, interesting and rich in history village of Dobarsko.

There are numerous possibilities for organized tours to Dobarsko, Bansko, the Rila monastery etc.

With seven golf course projects (one of which has already been built), the region is becoming a golf center of an international importance.

The first steps have already been made with the construction of the first golf complex. After its realization became a fact the investors themselves started discussion about the construction of the others.

What is more golf is a summer sport and this can guarantee tourist activity all year round. The ski resort of Bansko, which is situated nearby and the golf turned out to be a quite prospective market niche. In the lands, belonging to the Razlog municipality there are quite a few nice plots of land, which are suitable for the construction of golf courses.

The investors themselves have performed a marketing research, according to which the golf courses in the region would be profitable enough.
